Hayley Reid

Hayley Reid is a seasoned professional in the field of food science and compliance auditing, currently serving as a Systems Auditor at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) since February 2023, where audit activities are conducted in collaboration with China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) concerning the registration of New Zealand infant formula products. Previously, Hayley held the position of Senior Compliance Auditor at AsureQuality since July 2016, focusing on the auditing of risk management programs for dairy factories as part of the dairy export verification program. Prior experience includes roles at Fonterra, starting as a Graduate Trainee and advancing through positions including Microbiologist and Compliance Auditor, where significant contributions were made in testing methods and technical problem solving. Hayley's educational background includes a Master of Dairy Science and Technology from Massey University and a Master of Science (MSc) in Food Science from the University of Otago, complemented by a Bachelor of Science with honors in Food Science.
