Michelle Balaklaw

Michelle Balaklaw is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as Director, Legal Counsel at Asurion since August 2017, Michelle has progressed through titles including Sr. Staff Counsel and Staff Counsel. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney at Legility and completing a Law Clerk position at Franklin S. Yudkin & Associates, where responsibilities included drafting legal documents and client communication. Michelle's background also features a Legal Intern role at the Kentucky Bar Association and internships in online marketing and family court research. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, an MBA from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Centre College.
