Bartolomeo Migone

Bartolomeo Migone currently serves as General Counsel and Director of the Legal Office at the United Nations World Food Programme, a position held since December 2008. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Counsel and Director of Legal at The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria from 2003 to 2008, and Head of External Relations at the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center from June 2002 to June 2003. Bartolomeo Migone has also worked at Citi as Vice-President and Chief of Staff from August 2000 to May 2002, and held positions as Associate Legal Officer and Legal Officer at the United Nations Compensation Commission from September 1998 to August 2000. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP from August 1995 to July 1998. Bartolomeo Migone obtained a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, a Master’s degree in International Economics and American Foreign Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Education also includes an International Baccalaureate from Pearson College UWC.
