Amar Bandhu

Amar Bandhu is an experienced Senior Engineer specializing in real-time data ingestion and processing at ASX since January 2024. Prior to this role, Amar served as Principal Data Engineer at Optus from May 2019 to July 2023, focusing on real-time data ingestion and streaming analytics with expertise in Confluent Kafka, AWS, GCP, and Spark. Earlier experience includes roles as Technical Architect at Applied Materials and UPS, where Amar worked on streaming analytics and predictive modeling using big data and machine learning technologies. With a strong foundation in big data analytics, business intelligence, and data engineering, Amar has held various positions since beginning a career in technology in 2006, including BI Engineer at Panasonic Avionics Corporation and BI & ETL Consultant at Oracle India. Amar holds a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Gurukula Kangri University and a certification in Machine Learning Foundations from the University of Washington through Coursera.
