Hector Navarro

Hector Navarro has a wealth of experience in software quality assurance and engineering. Hector began their career in 2000 as an intern at Rain Bird, where they planned, designed, developed, and implemented a MS Access Database for Components engineering, as well as created Excel VBA macros to generate engineering time sheet reports. From 2006 to 2008, they worked at Plantronics as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, testing headset products with RF, Acoustic, Environmental, and Mechanical tests. Hector then moved to Navico in 2008, where they served as Software Quality Assurance Global Lead, leading a group of 16 people distributed in three locations and coordinating with global leads for all other engineering disciplines. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a freelancer at Programaro, where they were responsible for LAMP website development, Python, Selenium, business process automation, Excel macros, and dashboards. Most recently, they joined Asymm in 2021 as a Project Manager/ Software QA Lead and Software QA Lead.

Hector Navarro completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from CETYS Universidad between 2010 and 2014. Prior to this, they obtained a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California between 1995 and 2000.
