Johan Vermoesen

Johan Vermoesen is an experienced healthcare professional with a robust career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a member of the executive committee and vice chairman at Algemeen Stedelijk Ziekenhuis since July 2015, Johan oversees strategic initiatives in the hospital sector. Prior to this role, Johan has been the General Director of Broeders van Liefde, managing a residential care center since 2003, where responsibilities included overall policy and change management, as well as the construction of a new facility. Earlier experiences include serving as Director at OCMW Wichelen WZC Molenkouter from 1999 to 2003 and working as a nurse in the emergency department and surgical unit at Onze Lieve Vrouw Ziekenhuis from 1990 to 1999. Educational qualifications include a Master in Health Sciences from Universiteit Gent and a Bachelor's in Hospital Nursing from Sint Augustinus Instituut.
