Main objectives and Summary:
• Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of our financial systems, utilizing cutting-edge Java technologies such as SpringBoot, React, JSP, and SQL.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to gather system requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver enhancements that align with business goals.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
• Collaborate with QA teams to uphold the highest standards of software quality and reliability across all releases.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the development process.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to nurture their professional growth and contribute to team success.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks.
Mandatory:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong emphasis on SpringBoot and SQL
• Experience in AWS lambda, Python and React.
• Experience in CI/CD and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes), with a track record of implementing efficient deployment workflows is a plus.
• Experience in developing and managing financial systems, with a keen understanding of accounting principles, trading operations, and risk management is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A proactive team player who can also excel in independent settings, demonstrating leadership and initiative in every task.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English
