Alexander Pinkerton

Alexander Pinkerton is currently an engineering manager at Atakama. Prior to this, they interned as a software engineer at Rakuten Marketing from May to July 2015. There, they designed and implemented an internal monitoring dashboard using AngularJS/D3 for the frontend and Node/MongoDB for the backend. Alexander also integrated new technology with a legacy SQL database. In addition, they completed extremely thorough documentation and installation guide. Lastly, they worked with a team in an Agile development workflow using 10 day sprints.

Alexander Pinkerton graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

They are on a team with Ilya Ayzenberg - Senior Software Engineer, Gabe Blumenstock - Senior Software Engineer, and Brian Lovelace - Lead DevOps Engineer. Alexander Pinkerton reports to Erik Aronesty, CTO.
