José van der Plas

José van der Plas is a seasoned professional in urban development and management, currently serving as a Gebiedsontwikkelaar and member of the management team at BPD Gebiedsontwikkeling since February 2022, where responsibilities include strategic, financial, and commercial oversight of major urban area developments. José is also the Chair of the Supervisory Board at Woonstichting Zaam Wonen, with a focus on real estate, and additionally holds positions on the Supervisory Boards of Next Nature and Atalenta kinderopvang en primair onderwijs. Previously, José was the Program Director of Land and Spatial Development for the Municipality of Eindhoven, leading a team in shaping the city's spatial development vision. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Christian Studies of Science and Society from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Master's in Urban & Area Development from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
