Karin van Weegen

Karin van Weegen holds extensive experience in educational leadership and governance, currently serving as the Voorzitter of Landelijk Overleg Lerarenopleidingen BasisOnderwijs since April 2022 and as a toezichthouder for both St Josephscholen and SKOzoK Primair Onderwijs. From November 2020, Karin has been the onafhankelijk voorzitter of SWV De Verbinding VO Arnhem and a member of the Arbeidsmarktplatform PO since 2017. Previously, Karin led multiple roles at HAN University of Applied Sciences, including project leader and chair of the institute’s management team for the Pabo program, overseeing approximately 1600 students and 130 staff members. Other noteworthy positions include serving as Algemeen directeur at De Basis and voorzitter of Stichting PAS, advocating for educational opportunities in Arnhem. Karin van Weegen holds a Master's degree in ECM executive change management and a Drs in education from the University of Groningen.
