Manu Kaushish is a Senior Advisor to Atar Capital where he focuses on the Technology, Telecom, Media and Business Services sectors.

Manu is a technology entrepreneur who has worked with startups and public companies to create, build and grow scalable Internet & Media businesses. His roles have included Management, Strategy, Product and Business Development. Manu has been a contributor to the technology sections of magazines and newspapers such as Dataquest, PC World and the Statesman in India. He has been interviewed/profiled in media such as Time Magazine, Variety, The Week, Star TV, Times of India and PC Quest. Manu is an angel investor and advisor to companies in the Cloud IoT, med-tech, wearables, food and beverage and fin-tech space.

Manu is currently CEO of Nirvana Digital, the largest YouTube Multi Channel Network for video content from the Indian subcontinent. He bootstrapped and grew the view base of the network to over 1.5 billion minutes of video served per month and created revenue streams from platforms including HULU, Roku, Amazon, Apple iTunes, Spotify and mobile operators.

Prior to Nirvana, Manu was a Senior Vice-President at Eros International and was responsible for driving Eros’s technology and business to grow the digital monetization unit by creating new revenue streams from global distribution over Internet, Mobile, IPTV, Cable, Devices and other on demand channels. Manu created revenue streams from Comcast, Apple iTunes, Time Warner Cable and YouTube via models including VOD/SVOD/Ad Supported monetization. He built and managed the first and only Bollywood SVOD package on Cable MSO’s in North America on Time Warner, Comcast, RCN, Cox and Century Link.

Manu is also the Founder of Divine Arts, one of the first aggregators and digital distributors of audio content from the Indian sub-continent. Divine Arts entered into a strategic partnership with Saregama India Limited (formerly HMV India) (NSE: SAREGAMA), to transcode, package and deliver a catalog of over 100,000 Indian music tracks to Real Networks (NASDAQ: RNWK), making Real Rhapsody the first Internet service to offer Indian music to a global audience. Divine Arts subsequently created a technology platform that distributed audio content for many of India’s major studios to over 100 online and mobile channels such as Apple iTunes, Rhapsody, Yahoo Music and more.

In addition, Manu is the Founder of Satrang, where he developed a white labeled platform for the online grocer Namaste.com (a Kliener Perkins portfolio company) that offered Namaste’s audience a fully integrated, plug and play component to send gifts online. Satrang expanded to manage over 25 gifting storefronts offering 1100 products on high traffic sites including HindustanTimes.com, 123India.com, Tehelka.com and more.

Earlier in his career, Manu held positions with E2open and Crowe Chizek (now Crowe Horwath). Manu graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Michigan State University.
