Ian Gill

Ian Gill is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate credit and investment banking. Currently serving as the Director of Corporate Credit for Energy at ATB Financial since June 2022, Ian has previously held key positions such as Account Executive at Validere and Vice President in Credit Capital Markets at National Bank Financial, where Ian progressed through several roles including Associate in Credit Capital Markets and Loan Structuring & Syndication. Ian's earlier career includes project management at Western Management Consultants, investment banking roles at TD and Merrill Lynch, and equity research at Ross Smith Energy Group and Genuity Capital Markets. Ian began a career in finance as a Counterparty Risk Analyst at CNRL. Ian holds an MBA in Global Energy Management and Sustainable Development from the University of Calgary and a BBA in Finance from St. Francis Xavier University.
