Tero Kovanen

Tero Kovanen is an experienced information security and IT operations professional with a career spanning several prominent companies. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Atea Finland Oy since May 2019, Tero oversees ISO 27001 ISMS and AQAP 2110. Previously, Tero held the position of Head of Operations at Atea, managing multiple business lines in Managed Services. Tero's experience includes roles such as Service Area Manager at YIT, Team Lead for ICT-Infra & User Support at Lemminkäinen Group, and several technical and leadership positions at Baudia Verkkopalvelut Oy and Electronic Data Systems, among others. Tero holds a degree in Merkonomi, ATK from Jyväskylän kauppaoppilaitos.
