Andrew Benedict-Philipp

Andrew Benedict-Philipp is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in validation engineering and a history of working in FDA and CE regulated environments. Currently serving as Associate Manager of Validation Engineering at Alphatec Spine since September 2021, previous roles include Associate Test Engineer at NuVasive and R&D Engineering Intern at IRRAS AB. Andrew's experience also encompasses significant leadership as a Graduate Engineer and Lead Energy Consultant at SDSU Industrial Assessment Center, where operations included technical report management and facility assessments. Additional experience includes internships in mechatronics at Solar Turbines, mathematics tutoring, and research in paleomagnetism and geographic information systems at Occidental College. Andrew holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Occidental College.
