Steven Leong

Steven Leong began their work experience in 2012 as an Undergraduate Design Consultant at Delta Design. Steven worked on a project to redesign a machine subsystem and oversaw all documentation for the project. In 2013, they joined Next Orthosurgical as a CAD Engineer, collaborating on the development of various surgical implants. Steven then joined 7-12-5 Research and Development as a Design Engineer, where they conceptualized, designed, and formulated patent applications for orthopedic implants and instruments. Steven conducted patent searches and market research to ensure the development of useful products. In 2015, Steven became an R&D Consultant at Alphatec Spine. Steven later transitioned to the role of Senior Design Engineer and finally Project Engineer, where they have been working since 2020.

Steven Leong obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, where they pursued their education from 2009 to 2013.
