Tyler Hammann, PE has over 10 years of experience in the engineering industry. Tyler started their career as a Project Engineer at University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc in 2010, where they worked until 2013. Tyler then joined NuVasive as a Sr. Project Engineer and contributed to various projects for over 7 years. In 2021, Tyler became an R&D Manager at Surgalign before transitioning to their current role as Sr. Manager of Development at Alphatec Spine.
Tyler Hammann, PE has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completing their degree between 2005 and 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, Tyler Hammann, PE holds a Professional Engineer (PE) certification, obtained in April 2018 from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. Tyler also has a certification in HVAC Systems Design and Controls from the University of California San Diego, although the specific date of acquisition is unknown.
