Swapneel Kulkarni

Swapneel Kulkarni is a process engineer at Ateios. Swapneel has 10 months of experience in their current role. Prior to this, they worked at the Composites Manufacturing & Simulation Center for 2 years and 10 months. There, they were responsible for managing large-scale composites design and manufacturing projects from INEOS, Volkswagen, Boeing, and the European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN). Swapneel also designed and tested complex composite electromechanical assemblies pertaining to the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS). In addition, they characterized CF specimens via tensile, flexure, shear, and DMA tests according to ASTM and ISO testing procedures. Swapneel also performed linear/nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (ABAQUS), failure analysis, and MATLAB post-processing.

Swapneel Kulkarni received a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in 2018. Swapneel is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering with a focus in management from Purdue University. Swapneel has also taken courses in SOLIDWORKS Simulation, SOLIDWORKS: Simulation for Finite Element Analysis, and SOLIDWORKS: SimulationXpress.
