Gilmar Luna

Gilmar Luna has extensive experience in the field of technical operations and engineering. Gilmar has held various leadership positions in different companies. From 2022, they worked as the Country Manager Mexico and Director of Global Accounts LATAM at Ateme. Prior to that, they were the Manager of System Operations at Roku Inc. where they were responsible for overseeing the OVP and CMS systems and acted as the liaison between internal stakeholders. From 2017 to 2021, Gilmar worked at ATEME as the Director of Engineering & Service Delivery, where they managed a team of engineers across multiple countries and collaborated with sales directors to ensure customers' needs were met. Gilmar also served as the Director of Implementation & Support, where they deployed and maintained ATEME's solutions for various platforms. Before joining ATEME, Gilmar worked at Harmonic as a Technical Account Manager, providing support and managing projects for Charter. Prior to that, they worked at DLA, Inc. as the Director of Operations and Director of Client Services, overseeing operations, streamlining processes, and improving service delivery. Gilmar also held roles as a Sr. Project Manager and Project Manager, leading initiatives and delivering projects in Latin America. Gilmar's career began in 2003 as a System Engineer at SKY Brasil, where they gained experience in technical support and broadcasting architecture. Overall, they have a strong track record in managing teams, implementing solutions, and driving growth in the media and technology industry.

Gilmar Luna has a diverse education history that includes various programs focused on project management, leadership skills, and teamwork. In 2000, they attended Estácio and completed a program in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, which spanned from 2000 to 2003. Later, in 2015, they enrolled at Stanford University and pursued advanced project management studies until 2017. In 2020, Gilmar attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for a short-term program focused on high-performance leadership, teamwork, and negotiation skills. Finally, in 2021, they further enhanced their leadership skills by participating in a certificate program in "Building Your Leadership Skills" at HEC Paris.
