Roi Zahut

Roi Zahut is the current Chief Technology Officer at Aterian. Prior to this, they were with IBM for almost four years, where they served as the Chief Technology Officer - Global Advanced Analytics CoC. In this role, they were responsible for the Metropulse Platform, leading technical teams in delivering global, complex, big-data, machine-learning and NLP based custom-tailored solutions in a cloud environment. Roi also built and delivered a technology roadmap and vision, cultivated development of long-term products and technical assets, and launched global initiatives reaching 80k employees across the consulting organization of IBM. Technologies they have worked with include AngularJS, NodeJS, Python, Java, MongoDB, Elastic Search, HBase, Cloudant, Cassandra, Phoenix, Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, Spark, RabbitMQ, Hadoop, and NLP libs (sPacy, NLTK, Textblob, Gensim ), IBM Cloud, and AWS. Prior to their role as Chief Technology Officer - Global Advanced Analytics CoC, they served as Mobile Lead at IBM iX.

Roi Zahut has a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Bar-Ilan University, a B.A. in Psychology from Open University, an MCPD .NET in C# .NET 3.5 from Open University, and is a Commander in the Israeli Air Force Commanders School. Roi is also a Cisco Certified Network Associate in Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices (CCNA Basics + ICND) from John Bryce.

They are on a team with Joe Risico - Chief Legal Officer, Head of M&A, US, Michal Chaouat-Fix - Chief Product Officer, and Arturo Rodriguez - Chief Finance Officer. Their manager is Yaniv Sarig, CEO & Co-Founder.
