Carolina Valenzuela Jeria

Carolina Valenzuela Jeria is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in mineral exploration and geological assessments across various projects in Chile. Presently serving as a Senior Geologist at ATEX Resources since November 2023, Carolina previously held the position of Project Geologist at ATEX from January 2022 to March 2024, focusing on detailed logging, QAQC, and sampling during drilling campaigns at the Valeriano project. Prior roles include Project Geologist at Barrick Gold Corporation, Geologist at Minas de San Patricio, and significant contributions at NuevaUnión, where Carolina managed geological and geotechnical logging for diamond drills at La Fortuna and Relincho projects. Additional experience includes roles in exploration and geological logging at Freeport-McMoRan and South World Mining, complemented by academic experience as a professor at Universidad Santo Tomás. Carolina holds a degree in Geology from Universidad de Chile.
