Desmond Harris-Rse

Desmond Harris-RSE has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with Athabasca Oil Corporation since February 2017, where roles include Field Lead, Turnaround Coordinator for Field Operations, and Plant Operator, focusing on developing turnaround sequences and enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring safety. Prior experience at Statoil involved responsibilities as Field Coordinator and Field Operator, managing daily operations and safety protocols within Leismer facilities. Desmond began a career at Dezzco, holding various positions including Heavy Duty Mechanic and President, and contributed to the apprenticeship community as a board member for local and provincial committees. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta, a diploma in Heavy Equipment Technician, and a 4th Class Power Engineer certification from NAIT.
