Mike Evans

Mike Evans is an experienced maintenance professional with a strong background in the oil and gas sector. Currently employed at Athabasca Oil Corporation since February 2017, Mike is responsible for daily maintenance, PM development, and contractor supervision. Prior to this role, Mike held various positions at Statoil from July 2009 to January 2017, including Maintenance Lead, Mechanical Coordinator, and Millwright Lead, where responsibilities involved executing maintenance activities, planning and scheduling, and coordinating mechanical operations. Mike's early career included work as a Millwright at Cobra Maintenance from 2006 to 2009, focusing on projects and maintenance. Academic qualifications include a Journeyman Steamfitter degree obtained from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) (2015-2017), a Journeyman Millwright degree (2002-2006), a Journeyman Welder degree (1997-2001), and an Agricultural Mechanics Diploma from Olds College (1995-1997).
