Vishnu Parthasarathy

Vishnu Parthasarathy has a strong background in emergency medicine and clinical research. Vishnu currently holds the position of Chair and Medical Director of the Emergency Department at San Joaquin General Hospital. Vishnu previously served as the Operations Director and Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Department at the same hospital. Vishnu has also worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Novato Community Hospital.

In addition to their clinical roles, Vishnu has experience in medical technology and innovation. Vishnu has served as an Innovations Fellow at Inflect Health, where they collaborated on the development of innovative technology-backed solutions for healthcare challenges. Vishnu has also worked as a Medical Director and advisor for Athelas, providing medical strategy and clinical direction.

Vishnu's educational background includes a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of California, San Diego. Vishnu also conducted research as a Clinical Researcher at UCSD School of Medicine, focusing on inappropriate imaging orders by Emergency Medicine physicians. Vishnu has also worked as a Clinical Researcher at the UCSF Memory and Aging Center, studying the relationship between cognitive dysfunction and vascular risk.

Prior to their medical career, Vishnu worked as a Business Development Consultant at HealthifyMe.

Vishnu Parthasarathy completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego in 2010. Vishnu then pursued a Master's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the same university from 2010 to 2012. Lastly, they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine between 2012 and 2016.
