Chitra Thiagarajan

Chitra Thiagarajan currently serves as the Executive Vice President at Athen Systems since November 2023, where 38+ years of IT knowledge and leadership expertise are leveraged to drive innovation in the technology sector. Previously, as the Delivery Head IT at Guardian Life from March 2014 to October 2023, Chitra successfully led Agile transformations, built diverse teams, and oversaw the development of intricate business applications. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager for the Software Division at Data Telesis, where off-shore IT operations were managed, and as Project Manager at LASERWORDS, overseeing application development across multiple sectors. Additionally, Chitra held a managerial role at Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu, where major IT projects and e-Governance initiatives for the state government were led. Chitra holds an MBA from Annamalai University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamaraj University.
