Nakisha Hicks

Nakisha Hicks, MBA, PHR, is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in human resources and leadership development. Serving as President of The ElevateNakisha's since January 2020, Nakisha leads initiatives that promote growth for organizations and individuals, particularly focusing on HR consulting, executive coaching, and development programs for Black women in HR. In addition, Nakisha currently holds positions as an Executive Coach for LEAD Tennessee and Athena Alliance, and works as a Fractional Chief Human Resources Officer for Project Return Tennessee. With prior roles including Vice President of Human Resources and Inclusion at Nashville Symphony and extensive HR leadership experience with the State of Tennessee, Nakisha has demonstrated a commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces and talent development. Nakisha also engages in public speaking and offers coaching aimed at enhancing leadership skills and employee engagement. Academic credentials include an MBA and BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
