Cynthia Mbuthia

Cynthia Mbuthia is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and research. Currently serving as an Executive Partner at Athena since November 2023, Cynthia has previously held significant roles including Founding Partner and Impact Storytelling & Strategic Communications Lead at Burgeon Strategy from February 2021 to July 2023. Additional experience includes positions as a Research Assistant for The Contested Histories Initiative and the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, as well as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst at Tafuta Associates.
