Raj Kapoor

Raj Kapoor has over 19 years of experience in the banking industry. Raj is currently the Head of Broker Distribution at Athena Home Loans. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Broker Distribution at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank from 2019 to 2023. Raj also held various roles at Commonwealth Bank, including Executive manager Third Party Banking Distribution Support, Executive Manager Home Buying Transformation, Executive Manager Retail Banking Services, Senior Manager Channel Development, and Area/Branch Sales and Service Manager, Retail Banking Services. Raj has a strong track record of driving transformation, increasing productivity, and achieving revenue targets within the organizations they have worked for.

Raj Kapoor's education history starts in 2002 when they enrolled at the University of Western Sydney. Raj completed a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management from 2002 to 2005. After that, from 2005 to 2007, Raj pursued a Graduate Certificate in Science and Technology, specializing in Airport/Airline Management at the University of New South Wales.

In 2007, they attended AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where they obtained a GDM (Graduate Diploma in Management) degree in 2010. Continuing their education, Raj completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Management from the Australian Institute of Business between 2010 and 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Raj obtained a Productivity Practitioner Green Belt from SA Partners/Commonwealth Bank in June 2014.
