Amanda Mander

Amanda Mander is a seasoned user experience leader with extensive experience across multiple industries, currently serving as the Executive Director of User Experience at athenahealth since July 2018. Under Mander's leadership, a large UX team focuses on enhancing the athenahealth ecosystem by collaborating with product and engineering teams. Prior roles include Director of User Experience at GE Healthcare, where Mander integrated UX into value-based care products, and Principal Interaction Design Leader at FUJIFILM SonoSite, focusing on ultrasound products. Mander's experience also encompasses roles at The Active Network, Anthro-Tech, AMI Insurance Company, HIT Lab NZ, and founding Zanzara, a design consultancy. Mander holds an MA in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from Mills College and a BA in English Literature from Smith College.
