Bryan Rooney

Bryan Rooney is an experienced database administrator and systems consultant with a strong background in database management and system administration. Currently serving as the Lead Database Administrator at athenahealth since January 2006, Bryan specializes in the installation and management of Oracle and MS SQL Server databases for medical EDI clearinghouse and BI products, with a focus on automating synchronization processes. Prior experience includes a tenure at GE Healthcare, where Bryan held various roles, including Lead Systems Software Consultant and Associate Software Engineer, and was responsible for SQL Server database administration, system performance monitoring, and support for HP EVA SAN. Bryan also has a background in CAD design and network/computer administration from work with The Wadhams Company. Bryan holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Saint Louis University.
