Marisa Wurzel

Marisa Wurzel is a healthcare professional with extensive experience in payer knowledge and insurance package configuration. Currently serving as Senior Manager at athenahealth since September 2016, Marisa oversees a team focused on proactive payer monitoring, research, and client issue resolution, in addition to managing a Payer Advocacy program. Previously, Marisa was a Consultant at Culbert Healthcare Solutions, where project management services were provided during the implementation of practice management systems and various healthcare projects, including Meaningful Use analysis and ICD-10 impact assessments. Marisa holds a Master of Science in Health Informatics and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Northeastern University.
