Mike Ellis

Mike Ellis is an experienced executive in product management, currently serving as the Executive Director of Product Management at athenahealth since July 2016. In this role, Mike leads the Internal Developer Platform subdivision, focusing on building a modern technical foundation to enhance innovation and productivity within a global R&D organization. Previous positions at athenahealth include Director of Product Management, where Mike directed a team of over 70 members to drive the company's ecosystem growth, and Senior Manager of Product Management, recognized for delivering on platform strategies for sustainable healthcare. Mike began the career in healthcare management with roles at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and the Hospital for Special Care, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Stonehill College, complemented by education from the Product Institute.
