Laura-Maria Aubert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Laura-Maria started their career as a Trainee at Tartu County Court in 2012, followed by a position as an Administrative Specialist at Go Grupp in 2014. In 2016, they worked as a Legal Counsel - Working Student at the University of Tartu and as a Trainee at the Estonian Ministry of Justice, where they focused on publishing studies and developing legal provisions for juvenile criminal law and criminal procedure law in Estonia. Aubert then transitioned to the corporate sector, joining Atheneum in 2018. Laura-Maria took on various HR roles at Atheneum, starting as an Intern and progressing to an Associate HR, HR Manager, and finally a Global HR Manager. In their most recent role at Atheneum, they served as a Strategic Project Manager.

Laura-Maria Aubert's education history includes a variety of academic experiences. Laura-Maria obtained a High School Diploma from Tallinna Reaalkool between 1999 and 2011. Laura-Maria then pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Tartu from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they continued their studies at the same university and earned a Master of Laws degree from 2015 to 2017. During their time as a master's student, they also participated in a Summer University program at The University of Freiburg in 2017, where they focused on German Language. Additionally, Laura-Maria Aubert engaged in an Exchange Semester at the University of Regensburg in 2016 and 2017, where they specialized in German Criminal Law and Human Rights Law.
