Senior Customer Success Manager at Athennian

Kien Diep is currently working as a Customer Success Manager at Athennian, where they manage a book of business consisting of SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise Canadian law firms and corporations. They started working at Athennian in May 2022.

Before their time at Katipult, Kien was an MBA Student at Creative Destruction Lab from 2020 to 2021. In this role, they conducted pro-bono consulting for startups and enterprises across various industries, developing an Enterprise sales strategy and framework for a technology venture firm and establishing business development and sales plans for a leading-edge medical devices company.

Prior to their MBA, Kien worked as an Expeditor at Caber Engineering Inc from 2014 to 2015, a Junior Expeditor at Syncrude Canada Ltd. in 2014, and an Inventory Management Specialist at Syncrude Canada Ltd. in 2013.

Kien also has experience in the automotive industry, where they worked as a Sales Professional from 2008 to 2012.

Kien Diep has a diverse education history. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Management Analytics. Kien completed this degree at both the Haskayne School of Business and the University of Calgary. Before their MBA, Kien obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General, from the Dhillon School of Business at the University of Lethbridge. Additionally, they hold a Business Administration Diploma in Finance, General, from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).

In terms of certifications, Kien has obtained several additional qualifications. Kien acquired the Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 1 certification from SuccessHACKER in October 2021. In May 2021, they obtained certifications in Google Analytics for Beginners from Google, Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy, Leadership Fundamentals from LinkedIn, and McGill Personal Finance Essentials from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management. In January 2021, Kien completed the Standard First Aid – Level C CPR & AED course offered by St John Ambulance Alberta. Lastly, in November 2019, they obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP.
