Lisa Thurmond possesses a robust background in finance and budgeting, currently serving as a Budget Analyst for the Athens-Clarke County Unified Government since June 2013. Prior experience includes roles as Clerk of Court and finance/budgeting responsibilities at The Magistrate Court of Athens-Clarke County, as well as positions such as Controller at Good Hope Transportation and Athens District Manager at Georgia Federal Credit Union. Lisa's extensive tenure at Georgia Power Northeast Credit Union as a Manager and personnel experience at Habersham Bank further enhance a diverse professional portfolio. Educationally, Lisa holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The University of Georgia.
