Darlene Turner-White

Darlene Turner-White is currently an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Athens State University. However, they have also worked as a Distance Learning Specialist at Auburn University and as a Web Manager at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In all of their positions, Darlene has been responsible for developing faculty members’ technological skills, creating new courses, and implementing new technologies.

Darlene Turner-White has a Ph.D. in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Auburn University. Darlene also has a Master of Management Information Systems (M.S.M.I.S.) from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. In addition, they have certification from the ACUE (Association of College and University Educators) in Microcredential in Inspiring Inquiry and Lifelong Learning in Your Online Course, and certification from the Online Learning Consortium in Instructional Design Mastery Series.
