Samrat Chatterjee

Samrat Chatterjee is a seasoned supply chain management professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Supply Chain Management at Ather Energy since December 2018, Samrat previously held the position of Strategic Sourcing Manager. Prior to Ather Energy, Samrat worked as Deputy Manager at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, focusing on the development and sourcing of new parts in the electrical and electronics domain. From October 2013 to November 2017, Samrat was a Manager at Tata Motors, responsible for supplier finalization and commercial decisions for starters, alternators, batteries, glasses, and connected car technologies. Samrat's experience also includes serving as Assistant Manager at Tata Motors, overseeing supplier selection and commercial negotiations for infotainment systems and body electronic controllers. Samrat began a career with an internship as a Summer Trainee at NTPC in 2012. Samrat holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University and completed education at South Point High School.
