Larry Chun

Larry Chun is a seasoned drug development professional with significant experience in leading preclinical development at Athira Pharma since December 2015, currently serving as Vice President. Previously, Larry held positions as Senior Director and Senior Manager within the same organization, where efforts focused on developing innovative therapies for Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative diseases. Prior roles included Project Manager at Emerald Bio, managing structure-based drug development projects, and Senior Research Scientist at deCODE Genetics and Emerald BioStructures, where involvement centered on structure-based small molecule drug design. Larry began a career in research as a Research Technologist II at the University of Washington. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's Degree in Physiology from Rutgers University, and a Ph.C in Biological Structure from the University of Washington.
