Mark Worthington

Mark Worthington, J.D. joined Athira as General Counsel in June 2021 after working with the company as outside corporate counsel for several years. He has advised both private and public companies on a wide range of corporate governance, compliance and transactional matters, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures, and worked closely with executive management teams on strategic business and legal matters.

Prior to joining Athira he served as a Partner with Summit Law Group in Seattle, Washington for 24 years, where he previously chaired the corporate/securities practice and served as the co-managing partner. He received his J.D. from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and B.A. from Stanford University.
