Anna Baeth

Anna Baeth has a diverse work experience in the sports and research fields. Anna most recently worked as the Director of Research at Athlete Ally starting in June 2019. From 2015 to 2019, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota. Prior to that, they were the Head Field Hockey Coach at Oberlin College from 2012 to 2015 and a Futures Developmental Program Coach / Site Director at USA Field Hockey from 2010 to 2015. Anna also gained experience as an On-Site Supervisor of the Kosovo Soccer for Girls Initiative at the Institute for Training & Development in 2012, an Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Elms College in 2012, and a U16 Field Hockey Coach at Indoor Action Sports from 2010 to 2012. Anna started their coaching career as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Mount Holyoke College from 2010 to 2012 and as a Volunteer Lacrosse Coach at Mount Holyoke College in 2011. Their earliest coaching position was as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Smith College from 2009 to 2010.

- From 2015 to 2020, Anna Baeth attended the University of Minnesota where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Kinesiology, focusing on Sport Sociology.

- In 2011, Anna Baeth completed a Summer Graduate Certificate in Sport and Movement Cultures at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.

- Also in 2011, Anna Baeth participated in the CONTACT Summer Peacebuilding Program at the School for International Training.
