Leo Wytkind is an experienced professional in community outreach, education, and research with a background in psychology. Currently serving as the Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator at SMYAL since March 2024, Leo plays a key role in the Youth Development and Community Education team. Concurrently, Leo holds a part-time position as a Research Fellow at Athlete Ally, focusing on LGBTQ+ inclusion in collegiate athletics through the Athlete Equality Index. Previous roles include Program Associate at The Arc of the United States, Partner Teacher at Van Ness Elementary School, and Research Assistant for the Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County, among others.
