Jennifer Palko has a significant work experience in the energy industry. Jennifer started their career in 1995 at Union Pacific Resources, where they held various reservoir and operations engineering positions until 2000. Jennifer then worked as an independent petroleum consultant at Cawley, Gillespie & Associates, Inc. from September 2000 to May 2001. Jennifer joined Encore Acquisition Company in May 2001 and served as the Reserves and Planning Engineering Manager until March 2010. Since May 2010, they have been working at Athlon Energy as the Vice President of Business Development and Engineering.

Jennifer Palko attended Texas A&M University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Petroleum Engineering.
