Eugene O' Riordan

Eugene O'Riordan has extensive experience in educational and safeguarding roles, currently serving as a Teacher, Trainer, and Investigator at Athona Group since January 2023. Prior to this, Eugene held the position of Trust Safeguarding Manager at Loxford Academy Trust from May 2022 to January 2023 and was the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the London Borough of Newham from September 2013 to May 2022. Eugene's background also includes a significant tenure with the Metropolitan Police as a Detective Constable in the Specialist Child Abuse Investigation Command, where responsibilities included operational detective work and training. Eugene holds a Certificate in Education focusing on PE and English from Cardiff Metropolitan University and completed education at The Campion School between 1969 and 1977.
