Erwin Charlier

Erwin Charlier has extensive work experience in the financial industry, with roles at various companies. Erwin is currently the Head of Liabilities Modelling & Change at Athora Netherlands, a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, Erwin held the role of Head of Modelling at VIVAT from July 2014 to February 2021. Erwin also worked at SNS REAAL as the Bedrijfshoofd Capital Adequacy Management, Group Risk Management from September 2012 to July 2014, and as the Head of Economic Capital and Stress Testing, Group Risk Management from September 2010 to September 2012. Erwin has also held positions at ABN AMRO, Fortis, Tilburg University, NIB Capital Asset Management, and ABP Investments, where they gained research and risk management experience.

Erwin Charlier's education history includes a Ph D degree in Econometrics from Tilburg University, which they pursued from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from Eindhoven University of Technology, where they studied from 1988 to 1993.
