Jessica Schouten

Jessica Schouten currently serves as the Head of the Legal Securities & Transactions Team at Athora Netherlands since September 2021. Prior to this role, Jessica held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Van Lanschot Kempen, focusing on financial markets regulation and litigation. Additionally, Jessica was an Aspirant Board Member of the Van Lanschot Pension Fund, where involvement included the transaction of collective value transfer. Jessica's earlier experience includes a tenure as a lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, specializing in financial markets regulation, investment management, and litigation. Jessica also served as a legal counsel secondee at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and gained initial experience through internships at Rabobank Nederland and Clifford Chance. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Civil Law from the University of Groningen and an Honours Master's degree in Commercial Legal Practice from the University of Amsterdam.
