George Dialynas

George Dialynas has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. George is currently working as a Director at Athos Therapeutics Inc since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Scientist/PI at Q² Solutions from January 2020 to February 2022. George was a Research Associate at the University of Southern California from November 2018 to January 2020. Before that, George worked as a Staff Scientist at City of Hope from June 2017 to November 2018. George also held the position of Senior Research Associate at Stowers Institute for Medical Research from October 2011 to May 2017. George's earlier career includes being a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine from April 2007 to September 2011. George pursued their PhD as a Graduate Student at the University of Ioannina from November 2002 to March 2007 and completed their MSc as a Graduate Student at the University of Crete from October 2000 to October 2002.

George Dialynas completed their education history as follows:

- From 2003 to 2007, they attended the University of Ioannina, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cell Biology and Biochemistry.

- Prior to their doctoral studies, from 2000 to 2003, they obtained a Master's degree from the University of Crete in Molecular Biology and Biomedicine.

- Before pursuing their Master's degree, they attended the University of Crete from 1995 to 2000, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology.

Additionally, George Dialynas has obtained various certifications in biomedical research and biosafety. These certifications include Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research, Conflicts of Interest, CITI Good Clinical Practice Course, Data or Specimens Only Research - Basic/Refresher, Reducing Pain and Distress in Laboratory Mice and Rats, Working with Mice in Research, Working with Rats in Research Settings, Working with the IACUC, Biosafety Officer Training - Basic/Initial, Animal Biosafety, Basic Introduction to Biosafety, Emergency and Incident Response to Biohazard Spills and Releases, Initial Biosafety Training, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment, and Shipping and Transport of Regulated Biological Materials. These certifications were obtained between February and March of 2022 from the CITI Program.
