Jonathan Abdala

Jonathan Abdala is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Jonathan currently holds the position of Operations Manager at Athos Therapeutics Inc, a role they began in April 2022. Prior to this, Jonathan worked at Curative from 2020 to 2022, where they held several positions including Laboratory Operations Manager, Project Manager & Accessioning Manager, and Priorities Manager. In these roles, they managed various aspects of laboratory operations, including overseeing COVID test samples, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring efficient processing. Before their time at Curative, Jonathan worked as a Neuroscience Research Manager at Loma Linda University Medical Center from 2018 to 2020. Jonathan was responsible for revitalizing a declining lab and managing multiple research projects. Jonathan's earlier experience includes roles as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant and Senior Research Assistant at Point Loma Nazarene University, where they gained valuable laboratory skills under the guidance of marine biologist Dr. Walter Cho. In addition, they served as a Student Manager at Sodexo from 2014 to 2018, where they played a key role in developing a program to provide faster and healthier options for students. Jonathan Abdala holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology-Chemistry from Point Loma Nazarene University. In April 2021, they also obtained the Inspector Team Member Training certification from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Society.
