Preston Baucom

Preston Baucom serves as the Plant Manager for ATI Specialty Materials, overseeing safety, quality, and delivery within a 350-employee hot working and cold finishing operation dedicated to supplying superalloys for the aerospace industry. In previous roles at ATI, Preston has focused on continuous improvement, coaching the organization in lean principles, and directing environmental health and safety functions, including the implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems. Prior experience includes safety management roles at Georgia-Pacific LLC and BASF, along with a background as an Industrial Hygiene Technician. Preston holds a Master's degree in Occupational Safety from East Carolina University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health from Western Carolina University.
