Xinhao Song

Xinhao Song worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Atila Biosystems, starting in July 2023. In this role, Xinhao was responsible for the development of ddPCR-based assays for rapid Noninvasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) for chromosome karyotype analysis, as well as the development of customized data processing pipelines for genomic data.

Prior to that, Xinhao worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Meta from May 2022 to August 2022.

Xinhao Song has an extensive education history. Xinhao completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Nankai University from 2013 to 2017. During their undergraduate years, they also had the opportunity to study as a Visiting Student at Hokkaido University in 2014 and 2015, focusing on Zoology/Animal Biology.

Continuing their academic journey, Xinhao is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Rice University since 2017. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Xinhao has obtained certifications in specific fields. In May 2023, they completed the "Introduction to Genomic Technologies" course offered by Coursera. Xinhao also earned a certification in "Python for Genomic Data Science" from the same platform and institution in the same month and year.
