Andre Fernandes-Gibson

Andre Fernandes-Gibson is a seasoned research and development scientist with extensive experience in immunology and molecular biology. Currently employed at BioLegend since April 2019, Andre has progressed through various roles, executing and analyzing CITE-seq experiments and optimizing multi-antibody panels for the Totalseq portfolio, while also supporting customer troubleshooting and training junior team members. Prior to this, Andre completed postdoctoral positions at UC San Diego and Universidade de São Paulo, focusing on gene and protein expression, immune activation, and the development of experimental protocols. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Immunology, a Master's degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, all obtained from the Ribeirao Preto School of Medicine at the University of São Paulo.
