Abdulvahit Torun

Abdulvahit Torun is an experienced instructor and managing director with a robust background in geoinformation, surveying, and cartography. Currently, Torun serves as an instructor at Middle East Technical University and Atilim University, focusing on engineering surveying and spatial planning. As managing director of AKURA MeeTC Ltd and Aperigae Information Tech. Consulting, Torun leads innovative projects in remote sensing and geospatial information services. Previous roles include strategic management positions and editorial responsibilities within various organizations, including the General Command of Mapping. Torun's extensive education includes a Ph.D. candidacy in Geodesy and Geographic Information Technologies and numerous certifications in technology and geospatial disciplines.
